Raised to date for the project.
At the heart of what we do is a quiet room, a listening ear and a chance to just be. That’s why we chose the purple couch as a symbol of our #Room4ARC campaign. It symbolizes a comfortable place in a private room, where people with cancer and their families will find the help and support they need.
In 2019, Cork ARC is on the move. We depart Cliffdale - the original Cork ARC Cancer Support House, founded in 2003 – and transfer operations to the newly-renovated Sarsfield House. A substantial, detached two-storey covering over 700m2, Sarsfield House aims to be a benchmark centre of excellence for the provision of non-clinical cancer support in Ireland. It will offer:
A modern, spacious premises with indoor and outdoor facilities as well as gardens and group meeting rooms, Sarsfield House gives Cork ARC room to grow.
With more private meeting areas, individual rooms and a focus on patient confidentiality, Sarsfield House ensures people with cancer and their families have privacy and comfort.
With dedicated areas for children and teens as well as group meeting and therapy spaces, Sarsfield House offers Cork ARC the opportunity to deliver new and innovative services.
